Authors

Lisa McSherry has published five books since 2000 and looks forward to continuing to do so until she transitions into her next incarnation. In 2006, she started Facing North, a free website for honest reviews of many alternative spirituality items. There, she coordinates a group and publishes new reviews each month. Her other website, JaguarMoon Coven, encompasses her work teaching and mentoring others, and that fills up anything someone might call “free time.” A few years ago, she and her husband sold almost everything they owned and moved to Portugal to start a new life. There, she explores countries far older than the one she was born in and continues her many projects of service to the Pagan community.

Keep your practice sharp wherever you go.

Travel puts us all in liminal spaces. But despite many practitioners’ affinity for spaces betwixt and between, these areas have many practical and magickal dilemmas. A Traveler’s Guide to Making Magic provides templates and examples for practicing in a broad range of locations and circumstances. Pagans and witches alike will find utility in this book, making it a worthy addition to their suitcase.

A Traveler’s Guide to Making Magic explores the practical, the magickal, and the ethical aspects of responsible and sustainable travel. Through travel-specific charms and spells, as well as divination for the path ahead, Lisa McSherry provides an experienced and insightful guide for modern practitioners seeking to incorporate a little bit of magick into their own journeys.
