Submission Guidelines

Red Wheel/Weiser, LLC. publishes under two imprints: Weiser Books and Conari Press.

Weiser Books has a long history as one of America’s preeminent publishers of esoteric or occult teachings from traditions all around the world and throughout time. New consciousness, metaphysics, magick/magic, astrology, tarot, Wicca, pan-pagan — we publish books to live by for readers on many different spiritual paths.

Inspire, literally to breathe life into. That’s what Conari Press books aim to do — inspire all walks of life, mind, body, and spirit; inspire creativity, laughter, gratitude, good food, good health, and all good things in life. We publish wellness and recovery books, particularly 12-step books, books on health and eating, books especially for women, and books on spirituality, personal growth, parenting, and social issues.

Before submitting any materials to Weiser Books or Conari Press, we suggest you familiarize yourself with our titles. When submitting a proposal, please remember that it may take up to three months for your material to be reviewed. Please also note that we do not accept proposals on disk or by fax. If you are submitting by mail, only send copies of your material and keep the original for your records.

Please include in your submission:

  • Sample illustrations or photographs if appropriate (duplicates, please, not originals).

  • When submitting by email, please include all of the information listed above and attach as Word or PDF files to your email.

  • Include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your submission for a response and/or return of materials. Submissions will be recycled if ample postage is not included. Canadian and any other foreign submissions must include U.S. postage. We cannot use international postage coupons.
