Ashleen O'Gaea has written quite a few novels, ranging from contemporary to fantasy, including a set of stories for children and a chapter book for middle-schoolers. Her non-fiction work ranges from a variety of books about Wicca to one about West Highland White Terriers! And of course I've always got more stories and books in the pipeline. Ashleen is an ordained Wiccan priestess and a member of the Gecko Gals Ink (GeckoGalsInk.blogspot.com) which is a group of five Tucson authors who write in a wide range of genres, meet the public at book events all over town, offer seminars for authors at all levels of expertise and aspiration, and sponsor the All-Zona Book Fest every autumn. She's also on the board of the Mother Earth Ministries-ATC, a Tucson-based Neo-Pagan prison ministry (www.MotherEarthMinistries.org) and the co-founder of the Tucson Area Wiccan-Pagan Network (www.TAWN.org).

More than 10 years ago, it was the first book written specifically for Wiccan parents. Now it’s the 21st century’s best reference for the still growing number of Neo-Pagan parents who want to introduce their children to the principles of their religion. Like Ashleen’s other books, it’s written from her perspective as a Wiccan, but it’s easy for other pagan traditions to “translate” and use, too. In Family Wicca, priestess, wife, and mother Ashleen O’Gaea offers encouragement, shares her own family’s experiences, discusses real-life challenges and how to deal with them, and provides a wealth of simple rituals and inexpensive projects that will enhance your family’s life in every way.

"Down to earth advice on sharing the Wiccan religion with your children, parents, and other family members, whether you are an experienced or brand new Wiccan." ?--Isaac Bonewits, author of Bonewit's Essential Guide to Witchcraft and Wicca "Ashleen O'Gaea has made a powerful and comprehensive book even more valuable with this second edition of Family Wicca. This book should be on the bookshelf of every modern Wiccan family for the Charge of the Child alone. It truly gave me goosebumps. Family Wicca offers Wiccan and other Pagan families projects that everyone can share in as well as age-appropriate magic, tools, and rites. This book really does cover just about everything you need to raise children in the Craft with creativity, magic, and honor." --?Kristin Madden, homeschooling mom and author of Magickal Crafts, Pagan Parenting, and Pagan Homeschooling "Family Wicca represents the rebirth of a book that the community craves. Wiccan practitioners are welcoming new generations of children every day. This book will grow with us, and nurture our families with Spirit, magick, and love." --Patricia Telesco, author of Kitchen Witch's Guide to Brews and Potions and 365 Goddess "Family Wicca is still relevant and useful to this family more than a decade later. I can't imagine any Pagan Parenting library being complete without it." --W. Lyon Martin, author of the Pagan children's book An Ordinary Girl, A Magical Child
